Former Patriots offensive lineman, who was a part of two Patriot Super Bowl winning teams has been arrested by police. TMZ is reporting that former Patriot Shaq Mason was arrested by Franklin police Wednesday. He is reportedly still being held by police. He was arrested for allegedly engaging in an violent activity at the home of the mother of his child.
Court documents obtained by TMZ stated that Mason broke into the residence at 3:11 A.M., found the woman in her bedroom and began to choke her. He allegedly punched her and stated that he was going to kill her.
A police report in the documents revealed that police noticed a cut on the woman's lip when they were questioning her after the ordeal. They also stated that Mason sent a selfie with a caption threatening to kill her.
Mason has multiple charges against him including aggravated assault, aggravated burglary, harassment, and driving while suspended. His bond has been set at $150,000 and his court date has been set for later in the year in October.
