Like most inventions, The Pats Corner was created out of necessity, and to solve a problem one was experiencing. An avid supporter and fan of the New England Patriots from Ireland didn't have the ability to discuss, converse, and debate about the team, owing to the fact that most people outside of the United States have little interest in American football.

 

Therefore, to alleviate this, and scratch the itch, as it were, I started joining Facebook groups discussing all things Pats. Founded in February 2012, I launched our Facebook page, and subsequently in the years after, I branched out to X (Twitter at the time), Instagram, and YouTube. In more recent years we have launched our TikTok account. The Pats Corner website made its debut in 2017 offering a forum, news and opinion articles, and a small store retailing The Pats Corner apparel. Our goal is to create an excellent space for Pats fans from all over the world to get their fix of all things Pats and Boston sports.

 

The Pats Corner is a one-man operation (except for our brilliant Facebook page admins), so while I try to get news and my opinion pieces out as fast as possible, life and my real job sometimes take priority, or just simply get in the way. Not to mention, oftentimes breaking news is released at an hour that I am sleeping, the benefits of being out of market and five hours ahead of eastern standard time. But you have my assurances that I will do my very best to keep churning out content in a timely manner.
