Patriots: Pats Demolish Jets in Meadowlands Bloodbath

The Patriots delivered a dominant performance Sunday at MetLife Stadium, scoring touchdowns on each of their first five possessions and cruising to a 42–10 victory over the Jets for their 13th win of the 2025 season. Despite significant injury absences, New England controlled the game from the opening kickoff, building a commanding early lead and never allowing the Jets to mount a serious challenge.
Quarterback Drake Maye led the way with a near-flawless outing. He threw four touchdown passes in the first half and added a fifth early in the third quarter before being pulled, finishing 19-of-21 for 256 yards with a 156.5 passer rating. Stefon Diggs stepped up in a major way amid injuries at wide receiver, surpassing 100 yards receiving and scoring a touchdown, while multiple other targets also found the end zone.
The Patriots' offense overwhelmed the Jets with efficiency and explosiveness, piling up chunk plays through both the air and on the ground. New England scored touchdowns on six straight drives, did not face much third-down resistance early, and consistently converted in short-yardage and fourth-down situations. The defense complemented the effort by forcing an early interception, limiting New York to minimal production, and keeping the Jets off balance throughout the game.
By halftime, the Patriots held a 35–3 advantage after five flawless offensive drives. The Jets managed only a field goal in the first half, while Maye spread the ball around and showcased poise and precision. The rout continued in the second half, highlighted by a touchdown pass to rookie Efton Chism III, making Maye just the fourth quarterback in franchise history to throw five touchdowns in a single game.
The win secured a perfect 8–0 road record for the Patriots in 2025, just the third time in franchise history they have gone undefeated away from home, joining the 2007 and 2016 teams. New England now stands at 13–3 and will await the outcome of the Bills–Eagles matchup to determine whether the AFC East has been clinched or if a Week 18 win over the Dolphins will be needed to secure the division title.
Overall, it was the Patriots’ most lopsided victory of the season and another statement performance away from home. With momentum building and their quarterback playing at an elite level, New England heads into the final week of the regular season positioned strongly for both a division crown and a deep postseason run.
