The New England Patriots’ 28-23 Week 10 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers marked their seventh straight victory and showcased balanced play across all phases. While the team was largely satisfied with its performance, coaches will use film study and snap analysis to identify areas for improvement.
On offense, six players, quarterback Drake Maye and the entire starting offensive line, played every snap for the ninth time in ten games. Rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson shined in place of injured Rhamondre Stevenson, rushing for 147 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries. Receiver Kyle Williams scored his first NFL touchdown on a 72-yard bomb from Maye, while veteran Mack Hollins led the team with 48 snaps and 106 receiving yards.
Defensively, Robert Spillane, Christian Gonzalez, Carlton Davis, and Craig Woodson played every snap. Spillane logged nine tackles, while backup Jack Gibbens impressed with a team-high 10 tackles, filling in for Christian Elliss. Gonzalez excelled in man coverage, limiting Bucs star Emeka Egbuka to one catch for 11 yards on three targets.
The defense sealed the game late, with K’Lavon Chiasson, Milton Williams, and Jaylinn Hawkins combining to stop Baker Mayfield on a crucial fourth down, preserving the Patriots’ eighth win of the 2025 season.
